Human Magic

Simoné “is friendly, encouraging and accommodating. I feel that I have learned and grown in strength greatly under her guidance and anyone would benefit from her instruction.” - Val G. (Jersey City)

“I can feel like I’m getting closer to my goals with every session. And she’s also just such a great person, who actually makes working out fun. 10/10 recommend!” - Aakanksha J. (Jersey City)

Hi, I’m Simoné, and I believe there is something deeply magical about being human.

The ability to grow stronger. To reconnect with yourself after feeling disconnected. To create life, heal, rebuild, soften, begin again. To move through stress, heartbreak, transformation, motherhood, burnout, fear — and still find your way back to your body.

Movement is not punishment here. It’s communication.

Through strength training, yoga, breath work, and mindful movement, my goal is to help people feel more at home within themselves — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Whether you’re brand new to movement, navigating pregnancy or postpartum, or rediscovering your strength after years away from it, I believe the process itself is powerful.

Human beings are capable of incredible things.

That, to me, is magic.

  • “I worked with Simone throughout my second trimester, and her training made me feel confident, strong, and genuinely ready for birth. Thanks in large part to her focus on pelvic floor stability and strength training, I felt great throughout my pregnancy and was able to keep running until 33 weeks! The breathwork and labor prep we practiced helped me feel calm and capable going into delivery, which made a huge difference in my overall birth experience. I would definitely work with Simone again in future pregnancies!”

“Working with Simoné has dramatically changed my life for the better. She’s helped me develop a fitness routine that I look forward to maintaining each week and she makes it fun! Working out with her has made me physically and mentally stronger and serves as much-needed “me” time during the week. She tailors every workout to my needs, goals and limitations and the progress is undeniable. I can’t recommend her enough!

I would HIGHLY recommend Simone as a trainer. When I started with her 5 months ago I was looking for a way to jump start getting back into shape. My whole body feels stronger and I look forward to our sessions. Her sweet disposition can push my limits gently without me even realizing it. Simone will have you trying new things and working harder than you think you can. The physical growth is one thing, additionally, I find myself calmer and more mindful of my breathing. I am so lucky to have found Simone at the right time, she was exactly the type of trainer I needed.

“Simoné is a fantastic teacher and a pleasure to learn from. She is well-versed in yoga, but is also adept at other aspects of fitness fundamentals and can tailor our classes on the fly to address changing needs from day-to-day. I cannot recommend her enough!”

  • Simoné is an amazing teacher; so friendly, kind, relatable and positive that you feel completely at ease from the very first session. She takes the time to explain why you're doing each exercise and what's happening in your body, which makes such a difference compared to classes that just tell you what to do. There's never any pressure or judgement either - you can rest, go at your own pace, or turn up on a rough day and still get something out of it. So many fitness classes claim to be pregnancy and postpartum friendly, but really they're just a normal class where you're left to modify everything yourself. This was the opposite - the whole class is the modification, so nothing needs adapting and you know everything you're doing is safe. It meant I could keep working out and stay active and fit while pregnant, without second-guessing myself, and it fitted easily around everything else going on.

The pelvic floor exercises were brilliant and I used them right through pregnancy and postpartum. I particularly loved the breath work and exercises for the different stages of labor; I actually used them during labor itself! I went into labor feeling prepared and capable rather than anxious, which I don't think I would have managed otherwise. I also noticed the difference physically week to week - I felt stronger and more comfortable in my body than I expected to. And it doesn't stop at the birth; I came away knowing how to return to movement safely afterwards and what was normal versus what to keep an eye on. What really sets it apart is that it isn't just a physical workout, it's an emotional and mental workout too, and you really do need to practice all of it when going through this journey. Staying active and healthy matters so much, not just for labor but for your recovery too.

Simone is an extremely talented personal trainer. I have been working with her for a year now and without a doubt, after each session, I walk away feeling I got exactly what my body needed. This is a direct reflection of her skillfulness at incorporating various modalities of movement and form that are meticulously and thoughtfully tailored to you. She is bright, energetic, personable and is truly invested in helping you reach your personal goals!

    I highly recommend 💜 her!!

“Simoné was a great instructor! Coming to her class, I was a little nervous about my knowledge of yoga. But her ability to make those around her feel at ease is unmatched. Attending Hippy Hour Yoga was such a great release to reconnect with my surroundings and center myself, that I can’t wait to reconnect with her and the next group of novice yogis.
